Everybody has the right to choose a part of land for himself and his family. Comitees avoid conflicts and gun fights. "Jamaica is a gun country" as all jamaicans say. The government tried already many time to grant people giving back their weapons, but the people of jamaica always refused. This custom come from the independancy, when the marroons - the slaves - escaped in the forest to fight for independance and against the english colony.

I never met such people so friendly and tough at the same time.

I never saw so much wild forest, because the real rastas live in, and know all the medicinal  plants you can find into it.

Ganja and mushrooms are only used for ceremonies and prays, just to get closer to Jah.

As in the Sahara, there is real and false touaregs/rastas.

So don't stay in Negril, Montego. Go north of  Kingston, through the Black Mountains to Port-Antonio, find friends and rent a motor bike!
